May an employee use leave if the employee sustains a work-related injury or illness that is compensable under the state workers' compensation law?

An employee who sustains a work related injury or illness that is compensable under the workers' compensation law may choose to receive time-loss compensation exclusively, use accrued paid leave exclusively, or combine time loss compensation and accrued paid leave.
