In the event a school district is found to be in violation of the requirements of this chapter, OSPI may, by appropriate order pursuant to chapter 34.05 RCW, impose an appropriate sanction or institute appropriate corrective measures including, but not limited to:
(1) The termination of all or part of state apportionment or categorical moneys to the offending school district;
(2) The termination of specified programs wherein the violation or violations are found to be flagrant in nature;
(3) The institution of a mandatory affirmative action program within the offending school district; and
(4) The placement of the offending school district on probation with appropriate sanctions until such time as compliance is achieved or is assured, whichever is deemed appropriate in the particular case by OSPI.
