(1) In order to remain eligible for COPES, you must be in need of services in accordance with WAC 388-106-0310 as determined through a CARE assessment. The assessment in CARE must be at least annually or more often when there are significant changes in your functional or financial circumstances.

(2) When eligibility statutes, regulations, and/or rules for COPES change, irrespective of whether your functional or financial circumstances have changed, if you do not meet the changed eligibility requirements, the department will terminate your COPES services.
