Maintenance requirements.

(1) Examinations, in compliance with WAC 296-96-23605, are to be performed and documented in the maintenance and testing records.

Test tag(s) shall be attached to a wall inside the cab (car enclosure).

(2) Owners of electric manlifts are responsible for ensuring that:

(a) Manlifts and their parts are maintained in a safe condition;

(b) All devices and safeguards required by these regulations are maintained in good working order; and

(c) Maintenance and safety tests are performed and documented to the requirements found in ASME A17.1 Section 8.6 as applicable to the sections of WAC 296-96-24519 through 296-96-24560.
