Requirements for advertising.
(1) At least thirty days before use in this state, every issuer who provides medicare supplement insurance coverage to a resident of this state must provide the commissioner with a copy of any medicare supplement advertisement (as advertisement is defined in WAC
284-50-030) intended for use in this state whether through written, radio, or television medium. In the case of radio or television advertising, an audio cassette or VHS cassette must be supplied on request of the commissioner.
(2) Advertising must comply with the standards of the Washington disability advertising regulation (WAC
284-50-010 through
284-50-230), and must identify the name in full of the issuer and the location of its home office or principal office in the United States (if an alien issuer).
