An employee of an educational institution, or an employee of an educational services district that performs services in an educational institution, who voluntarily leaves work for reasons that constitute good cause under RCW 50.20.050 may have the hours and wages from the educational institution or educational services district count towards the base year or benefit year, even if the employee has a contract or reasonable assurance of future work.
