Effective date of claim defined.
As provided in RCW
50.04.030, an unemployment claim will be effective on the Sunday of the calendar week in which the application for benefits is filed, or, when requested, backdated to a calendar week prior to the calendar week in which the application is filed as provided in WAC
192-110-095. This Sunday date is referred to as the "effective date of claim" or "claim effective date."
