007 Marking on motors and multimotor equipment. Except as required by the National Electrical Code, there is no requirement for motors to be identified for use or listed/field evaluated by a laboratory. All motors must be manufactured according to National Electrical Manufacturer's Association (NEMA) standards for motors except motors that:
(1) Are a component part of equipment listed or field evaluated by a laboratory; or
(2) Are a component part of industrial utilization equipment approved by the department per WAC
296-46B-903.
