FUND-RAISING EVENT RULES

WAC Sections

Purpose.
Notify local law enforcement.
Canceling, changing time, date, or location of fund-raising events.
Ten thousand dollars net receipts limit.
Fund-raising events on December 31.
Post house rules.
Wagering limits for fund-raising events.
No wagering among participants.
Use chips or scrip.
Prepare membership list.
Separation of duties for central accounting system required.
Counting money.
Use lock boxes and money paddles.
Maintain records of net receipts.
Activity reports for fund-raising events.
Winners must be present and participating to win.
Use only full and regular members to operate the fund-raising event.
Compensation of other authorized employees.
Workers must wear name tags.
PREMISES AND EQUIPMENT FOR FUND-RAISING EVENTS
Holding fund-raising events on commercial business premises.
Commercial business must not participate in fund-raising events.
Control of premises.
Using, leasing, or renting equipment.
GAMBLING ACTIVITIES AUTHORIZED AT FUND-RAISING EVENTS
Pull-tabs authorized.
Processing pull-tabs after play.
Punch boards not authorized.
Bingo authorized.
Disposable bingo cards at fund-raising events.
Raffles authorized.
Blackjack or "21" authorized.
Poker tournaments authorized.
JOINT FUND-RAISING EVENTS
Joining together with other licensees to conduct a fund-raising event.
Lead organization responsibilities.
LIMITED FUND-RAISING EVENTS
Limited fund-raising event defined.
Operating a limited fund-raising event.
Recordkeeping at limited fund-raising events.
Fund-raising event distributor rules at limited fund-raising events.
Restrictions on gambling activities at limited fund-raising events.
