Determination of significance (DS).
"Determination of significance" (DS) means the written decision by the responsible official of the lead agency that a proposal is likely to have a significant adverse environmental impact, and therefore an EIS is required (WAC 197-11-310
). The DS form is in WAC 197-11-980
and must be used substantially in that form.
