This memo serves as notice that the department of health (department) is withdrawing a policy statement titled Temporary Use of Ambulance Services and EMS Providers to Transport Decedent Remains within Hospital Systems, EMS 21-03, which was filed on January 28, 2022, and published in WSR 22-04-069.

The department is withdrawing this policy statement because this was a temporary measure intended to meet an urgent need and was only in effect until February 14, 2022.
