Title or Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 20-0007 April 2020 Fee Schedule Effective Date Updates.

Description: The health care authority (HCA) intends to submit medicaid SPA 20-0007 to update the fee schedule effective dates for several medicaid programs and services, and update the name of a service. This is a regular, budget neutral update to keep rates and billing codes in alignment with the coding and coverage changes from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the state, and other sources. These changes are routine and do not reflect significant changes to policy or payment. SPA 20-0007 addresses the following:

HCA is in the process of developing the SPA. HCA would appreciate any input or concerns regarding this SPA.
