SUPERINTENDENT OF
PUBLIC INSTRUCTION
[Filed December 5, 2017, 12:54 p.m.]
Subject of Possible Rule Making: WAC 392-121-415 Basic education allocation—Deductible revenues.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: WAC 392-121-415(2) currently provides that the office of superintendent of public instruction (OSPI) must deduct proceeds from state forest payments pursuant to RCW 79.22.040 and 79.22.050 from school district and charter school basic education apportionment payments. OSPI is considering amending WAC 392-121-415 to eliminate subsection (2).
Process for Developing New Rule: Early solicitation of public comments and recommendations respecting new, amended, or repealed rules and consideration of the comments and recommendations in the course of drafting rules.
Interested parties can participate in the decision to adopt the new rule and formulation of the proposed rule before publication by contacting T. J. Kelly, P.O.
