PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY
Subject of Possible Rule Making: Implementing a new hotel liquor license.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 66.08.030 and 66.24.590.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The legislature has created a new hotel liquor license which is a new license type. Clarifying terminology will help licensees and liquor control board staff implement this new license type. Other policy changes may be incorporated into this rule making. Other WAC sections may need to be updated as a result of this rule making.
