Must an employee with permanent status who is appointed to a project position serve a trial service period?
In accordance with WAC
357-19-025, a permanent employee must serve a trial service period upon promotional appointment to project position.
In accordance with WAC
357-19-030, a permanent employee who voluntarily transfers or voluntarily demotes to a project position may be required by the employer to serve a trial service period.
