If an employer permanently increases the hours of a position, may an employee choose not to continue in the position?
A permanent employee may choose not to continue in a position that has been permanently increased in hours of work in accordance with WAC
357-19-140. The employee has layoff rights in accordance with the employer's layoff procedure.
