Tenure and dismissal.

It is the rule of the board of trustees of Community College District XXIV that all matters related to tenure and dismissal of academic employees shall be governed by the laws of the state of Washington and the terms of the negotiated agreement between the board of trustees of Community College District XXIV and the South Puget Sound Community College federation of teachers as contained in that agreement.

Professional leave.

It is the rule of the college that faculty be granted professional leave for the purpose of providing opportunities for study, research and creative activities for the enhancement of the college's instructional programs and services per RCW 28B.10.650.
