Records — Transfer from counties to department.

(1) Trade name records filed with the county clerks prior to the 1979 act, related files, and cross-referenced materials will be transferred to the department no later than October 1, 1979.

(2) Once the records are transferred, the director shall provide for preservation, storage, and access of such records.
