In the event any project sponsor's expenditure of board grant moneys is determined by the board or director to conflict with applicable statutes, rules and/or related manuals, or the project agreement, the board reserves the right to demand repayment to the appropriate state account, by written notice from the director to the project sponsor. Such repayment requests may be made following consideration of an applicable report from the state auditor's office.
