In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list
of policy and interpretive statements issued by the department
of social and health services.
Division of Home and Community Services
Subject: Change to New Freedom waiver.
Effective Date: January 1, 2012.
Document Description: Home and community services, a division of aging and disability services administration (ADSA), intends to submit a waiver amendment request with the federal Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) for the new freedom waiver (WA# 0443) in order to expand services to Pierce County. Currently the new freedom waiver, which has been operating since 2007, is available only in King County.
