POLICY STATEMENT

DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY

     The Washington state department of ecology, toxics cleanup program (TCP) has recently updated the following policies and procedures. Policy or Procedure Title Description
Policy 340 Managing TCP's program plan Defines roles and responsibilities for managing TCP's program plan. Updates a previous policy.
Policy 550 A Cost recovery Provides ecology employees guidance on recovering remedial action costs under the Model Toxics Control Act. Updates a previous policy in response to state auditor recommendations. Ecology will now require payment of invoices within thirty days of issuance of the invoice (previously ninety days).
Procedure 550 A Cost recovery of state TCP expenditures Describes updated procedures for issuing invoices to recover remedial action costs under the Model Toxics Control Act.
Policy 550 B Tracking site activities in the site log Deleted. Replaced by Policy 550 A.
Procedure 550 B Site log procedure Deleted. Replaced by Policy 550 A.
