     Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 19.27.074.

     Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: In response to legislative action during the 2007 session, the regulations requiring automatic fire sprinklers in nightclubs will be revised to clarify the definition of nightclub and to change the effective date.

     Process for Developing New Rule: Technical advisory group (TAG) review.

     Interested parties can participate in the decision to adopt the new rule and formulation of the proposed rule before publication.
