Subject of Possible Rule Making: WAC 388-450-0210 Countable income for medical programs and 388-523-0100 Medical extensions.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 74.08.090 and State Plan Amendment 00-008.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The proposed amendment is necessary to change the treatment of earned income in the initial months of eligibility and provide for changes to extended medical benefits.
Process for Developing New Rule: The department invites the interested public to review and provide input into the adopted language of this proposed WAC amendment. The department will distribute draft material for an internal and external review process. All comments are taken into consideration before issuance of final rule.
