(1) Where the parties settle an appeal before hearing, the parties shall prepare a written order of dismissal to which the settlement agreement is attached, and submit that order to the board. If the agreement is in accordance with the law, the board shall enter the order and dispose of the case.
(2) This section also pertains to settlement agreements reached after mediation.
