What if a DVR counselor cannot presume that I am capable of working as a result of receiving VR services because of the severity of my disability?

If a DVR counselor cannot presume VR services will enable you to achieve an employment outcome because of the severity of your disability, DVR will assess your ability to perform work using a trial work experience or an extended evaluation. The DVR counselor will evaluate the results of the trial work experience or extended evaluation to determine whether you can work as a result of receiving VR services and whether you are eligible for VR services.
