Persons authorized to make final decisions following formal hearing.

The administrator of the hearings and interviews section, the assistant director for driver services, and such other persons as the director may from time to time appoint by administrative order filed in the registry maintained in his office shall have authority to render final decisions on behalf of the department on all matters heard by formal hearing pursuant to RCW 46.20.329.
