(1) The department reimburses out-of-state pharmacies for prescription drugs provided to an eligible client within the scope of the client's medical care program if the pharmacy:
(a) Contracts with the department to be an enrolled provider; and
(b) Meets the same criteria the department requires for in-state pharmacy providers.
(2) The department considers pharmacies located in bordering areas listed in WAC
388-501-0175 the same as in-state pharmacies.
